Format of the Tournament
38 teams are divided up in five groups for the matches, where groups A, B, and C each will have eight teams, and groups D and E each have seven teams playing in the 50-over match format.
The top 10 teams from the five groups will move to the knockout stage
From each group only top two teams will qualify to the knockout round starting from January 09, 2025. The teams holds the second-placed, will be ranked from 6 to 10, and the five teams who qualify first in their group will go to the quarterfinals straight. Also teams holding rank 7–10 will have to play two pre-quarterfinal games to qualify, while the sixth-ranked team will also qualify to the quarterfinals.
